Ernest England died from wounds on 13th October, 1914, while a prisoner of war but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded or captured. The 14th Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery which had arrived in France at the end of August, 1914 as part of 4th Division and saw action during the Battles of the Marne and trhe Aisne. |
